The ground and flight personnel provide special service.
- Upon Reservation
Recently renovated Royal Air Maroc branch offices are provided with a special ramp for physically impaired customers. Special notification is inserted into each reservation packet to properly inform the people at the point of departure and arrival that the appropriate human and material resources must be provided.
- Upon check-in
Transport of items indispensable to the physically impaired (wheel chairs, crutches, orthopaedic materials) is on all Royal Air Maroc lines and gives rise to priority treatment.
In addition, for sight-impaired passengers, transport of Seeing Eye dogs is offered.
- Upon Boarding
Departing Casablanca, a medical lift is available to facilitate direct access without requiring the use of a stool.
- On Board
For the comfort of physically impaired passengers Royal Air Maroc planes are fitted out with seats with retractable armrests.
Our Boeing 747-400 has a wheel chair in the cabin ready to help physically impaired passengers on long haul flights.
Stretchers
Passengers on stretchers are accepted in economy class only. They must be accompanied. The required reservations for the entire journey have to be made prior to departure. Ambulance service shall be handled by the passenger and a disclaimer of responsibility must be provided.
The normal full fare in economy class is applied to the ill person and the accompanying party, in addition to a supplementary charge equal to twice the full normal fare in economy class for each leg of the journey where the stretcher is used.
Passengers occupying several side-by-side seats
For more comfort, a passenger may reserve two juxtaposed seats except for the placement of large pieces of luggage. He/she shall be required to pay twice the fare he/she would pay for the flight taken. Each seat paid for entitles the traveller to the corresponding luggage allowance.
