- The location of seats with movable armrests by row and seat number.
- The location of seats not available to persons with reduced mobility, including exit rows.
- The availability of level boarding equipment.
- Limitations on loading mobility equipment or other assistive devices in the cabin or cargo hold, including wheelchair loading, and whether the aircraft is equipped with accessible restrooms.
- The availability of various services on board for persons with reduced mobility.

Escort: Safety assistant

A safety assistant will be required by Royal Air Maroc to accompany you during the flight in the following cases:

- If you are traveling on a stretcher.
- If you are unable to understand or respond properly to safety instructions from Royal Air Maroc staff.
- If your level of physical mobility is severely restricted, preventing you from evacuating in an emergency.

A safety assistant is a person of at least 12 years of age who is willing and physically capable of actively participating in your evacuation and of understanding and applying safety instructions on your behalf.

The safety assistant can be a person traveling with you if they meet the required conditions, in which case they must sit next to you.

A safety assistant cannot accompany a person with reduced mobility and an infant or child under 5 years old at the same time. They cannot serve as a safety assistant for multiple persons with reduced mobility simultaneously.

A safety assistant will be required by Royal Air Maroc to accompany you during the flight in the following cases:

- If you are traveling on a stretcher.
- If you are unable to understand or respond properly to safety instructions from Royal Air Maroc staff.
- If your level of physical mobility is severely restricted, preventing you from evacuating in an emergency.

Respiratory impairment

You are allowed to bring or use your own Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) on board provided it is approved by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).

The passenger must have a sufficient number of batteries to power the POC for up to 150% of the maximum expected flight duration and must also ensure that spare batteries carried on board are packed in accordance with applicable government safety regulations (in zip-lock bags).

Royal Air Maroc will inform you of the maximum expected flight duration, as well as each portion of the itinerary, within 48 and/or 24 hours following booking prior to departure.

The previous FAA rule (Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR) 106) allows the use of the following POC types:

AirSep FreeStyle, AirSep LifeStyle, AirSep Focus, AirSep FreeStyle 5, Delphi RS-00400, DeVilbiss Healthcare iGo, Inogen One, Inogen One G2, Inogen One G3, Inova Labs LifeChoice, Inova Labs LifeChoice Activox, International Biophysics LifeChoice, Invacare XPO2, Invacare Solo2, Oxlife Independence Oxygen Concentrator, Oxus RS-00400, Precision Medical EasyPulse, Respironics EverGo, Respironics SimplyGo, SeQual Eclipse, SeQual eQuinox Oxygen System (model 4000), SeQual Oxywell Oxygen System (model 4000), SeQual SAROS and VBOX Trooper Portable Oxygen Concentrator units

The new rule requires the carrier to accept the passenger's use of these devices unless:

1- The device does not meet the applicable requirements for portable electronic medical devices established by the carrier's government, if such requirements exist; or where applicable, the requirements established by the FAA.

2- The device cannot be stowed and used in the cabin in accordance with applicable TSA, FAA, and PHMSA regulations and the carrier's government safety rules.

The rule also requires, subject to the same conditions set forth above, that the carrier permit the use of POCs based on manufacturer certification without specific FAA approval. Specifically, POCs suitable for use in the cabin must be identified by a label containing the following statement:

"The manufacturer of this POC has determined that this device conforms to all applicable FAA acceptance criteria for POC carriage and use on board aircraft."

The label must be permanently affixed to the POC so that it cannot be transferred to another device.

Regarding the use of a ventilator, respirator, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine, or POC:

1- A label must be affixed by the manufacturer to reflect that the device has been tested to meet the requirements for portable electronic medical devices established by the carrier's government, if such requirements exist; or where applicable, FAA requirements.

2- The weight and dimensions (length, width, and height) of the device must be compliant to fit in the aircraft cabin in accordance with the carrier's government safety rules;

3- The passenger must possess a sufficient number of batteries to power the POC for up to 150% of the maximum expected flight duration and must also ensure that spare batteries carried on board to power the device are packaged in accordance with applicable government safety rules (in zip-lock bags);

4- The passenger must declare the possession of the POC and ensure it is noted in the booking record 48 hours prior to flight departure, in order to know the maximum expected duration of the flight and determine the required number of batteries for their specific ventilator, respirator, CPAP machine, or POC;

5- The obligation to present a medical statement from the attending physician attesting that the passenger is capable of using the POC appropriately and specifying their needs for the smooth conduct of their trip. A photocopy of this statement is acceptable.

Medical certificate

You will be required to provide a medical certificate in the following cases:

- If you are traveling on a stretcher or in an incubator.
- If you require therapeutic oxygen during the flight.
- If you have a contagious disease.
- If your medical condition gives rise to reasonable doubt, and in the event that you cannot travel safely without medical assistance during the flight.

- Stretcher (STCR).
- Transport of a group of 10 or more passengers with reduced mobility traveling together.
- Provision of an on-board wheelchair (WCOB).
- Transport of a service dog on a flight with a scheduled duration of 8 hours or more.
- Transport of a passenger who is both visually and hearing impaired.
- Transport of any dangerous goods requiring special packaging.
